Sr. Tech SEO Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Technical SEO Analyst / Specialist who can audit large websites, identify high-impact technical SEO issues, create SEO content briefs, and prepare clear recommendations that improve organic visibility and AI search readiness. This role requires someone who can go beyond tool exports, understand what matters most, prioritize issues by SEO impact, and explain technical findings in simple language for internal teams and international clients.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed technical SEO audits for medium and large websites, including websites with more than 10,000 pages.
  • Review crawl exports from tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush Site Audit, Ahrefs Site Audit, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and similar platforms.
  • Identify and prioritize issues related to crawlability, indexation, redirects, canonicals, robots.txt, noindex tags, XML sitemaps, internal linking, URL structure, metadata, structured data, page experience, and site performance.
  • Separate high-impact technical blockers from lower-priority hygiene issues, instead of prioritizing only by issue volume.
  • Analyze URL-level and template-level patterns across large websites and identify root causes behind recurring issues.
  • Prepare clear site assessment reports with issue summaries, impact explanations, URL examples, and actionable recommendations.
  • Translate technical findings into simple business-impact language that can be understood by SEO, content, engineering, and client teams.
  • Create implementation-ready recommendations for developers and website teams.
  • Validate fixes after implementation through recrawls, spot checks, and comparison of before-and-after issue counts.
  • Document learnings, reusable checks, and quality-control steps to improve audit consistency across multiple projects.

SEO Content Brief Responsibilities

  • Create SEO content briefs for landing pages, blog posts, resource pages, service pages, location pages, and other priority page types.
  • Use keyword research, SERP review, competitor content review, search intent, content gaps, and internal linking opportunities to define what a page should cover.
  • Provide clear recommendations for page title, meta description, H1, H2/H3 structure, target keywords, secondary keywords, questions to answer, FAQs, internal links, schema opportunities, and content angle.
  • Convert technical SEO findings into content instructions where relevant, such as improving thin pages, duplicate pages, missing headings, weak internal links, missing answer sections, and unclear page purpose.
  • Work with writers, editors, and content teams to ensure briefs are practical, search-focused, and easy to execute.
  • Review content drafts for alignment with the brief, search intent, internal linking, entity coverage, and technical SEO requirements.

AI Search Visibility Responsibilities

  • Improve a website’s readiness for AI-powered search experiences by fixing the same technical issues that affect crawlability, indexation, page understanding, and search eligibility.
  • Ensure important pages are crawlable, indexable, internally linked, technically accessible, and supported by clear page structure and visible textual content.
  • Identify technical issues that may reduce eligibility for AI search visibility, including blocked pages, noindex tags, broken links, redirect-heavy paths, conflicting canonicals, poor internal linking, inaccessible content, invalid structured data, and weak page structure.
  • Recommend improvements that make pages easier for search engines and AI search systems to understand, summarize, and cite, such as clean canonicals, descriptive internal links, valid structured data, answer-ready sections, clear headings, and stronger entity/context signals.
  • Understand that AI search visibility does not require special AI markup; the focus should be on strong SEO fundamentals, accessible content, structured data accuracy, and technical quality.
  • Support AI search readiness reviews by checking whether priority pages provide clear answers, strong topical context, valid schema, and reliable technical access.

Required Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in SEO, with at least 3 years focused on technical SEO audits.
  • Proven experience auditing and improving websites with more than 10,000 pages.
  • Experience creating SEO content briefs for different page types and search intents.
  • Experience improving organic visibility or technical health through fixes related to crawlability, indexation, redirects, canonicals, internal links, metadata, content structure, and structured data.
  • Ability to show examples of measurable results, such as improved crawlability, improved indexation, reduced technical issues, increased organic visibility, improved rankings, or stronger search performance after technical SEO fixes.
  • Hands-on experience with Screaming Frog and SEMrush Site Audit is required.
  • Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs Site Audit, PageSpeed Insights, Rich Results Test, Schema Validator, Excel, and Google Sheets is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of large-site SEO challenges, including crawl waste, duplicate URLs, faceted navigation, site architecture, internal linking, canonicalization, and template-level issue patterns.
